Guess which hatchback’s back?.

With over 33 million sold, the multi-award winning hatchback is back in this impressive face-lifted version of the Mk7. Smart, safe and connected, the new Golf made its global debut in November 2016. With a sleeker design, new engine technologies, assistance systems and infotainment systems, let’s just say that the wait was definitely worth the while.

It is also world first in the compact class to come equipped with the new generation Discover Pro infotainment system which is gesture controlled. What’s more, you will also be able to view important information on its large 9.2-inch screen. This tablet-sized addition is a remarkable difference from the previous version’s 8-inch screen!

The new Golf will also come with functions like Traffic Assist that helps guide the car in stop and go traffic situations. It does this by steering, accelerating and braking, and this works at speeds of up to 60 km/h! For a more precise and sleek design, the latest addition of this popular hatchback has also been fitted with new bumpers, front wings and new full LED tail lights.

The new Golf will come equipped with a new generation of engines, including the 1.5 TSI Evo – a 150 PS four-cylinder engine with variable Active Cylinder Management (ACT). Advance sales of the new Golf will start overseas in December 2017, so stay tuned for more updates on when it will reach our shores!
